Jay has been with Radio Cayman newsroom since April of 97'. Having been born and raised in St. Petersburg Florida, Jay began his Radio career at then Radio Station WPLP AM570 with a summer job between 8th and 9th grade. "I just knew that's what I wanted to do for a career from then on." Jay actually follows in his father's footsteps as a newscaster. "Dad used to sit and tell me all the stories from when he was a broadcaster." "One time, while reading the news, someone lit his news copy on fire. I asked him what he did, he told me he read faster." Jay brings with him to Radio Cayman news over 10 years of Radio experience, all from the Tampa Bay area.
Carsley Fuller
Carsley Fuller joined the Radio Cayman staff in September 2006. She graduated in 2004 from Penn State University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. Carsley worked in the Dallas/ Ft. Worth Metroplex reporting traffic news for one year, then relocated to Houston, Texas. In Houston she worked as a news reporter for all news radio station KTRH until her move to Grand Cayman. Delighted to be working in this island paradise, Carsley enjoys Cayman's beauty and its warm and friendly people.
Dionne Anglin
Dionne Anglin is originally from Point Fortin, Trinidad. 23 year old Dionne migrated to the Cayman Islands with her parents and three brothers. She graduated from the Truth for Youth School in 1998 and attended St Petersburg Junior College on a basketball scholarship. She is currently on the Cayman Islands National Women's Basketball Team. She is also continuing to pursue a degree in Mass Communications at the International College of the Cayman Islands. Her hobbies include travelling and listening to music.
Koro Vaka'uta
Koro Vaka'uta started working at Radio Cayman in 2006 after spending four years working at Radio New Zealand in the New Zealand capital of Wellington. Starting out as a sports reporter in 2002 after attending Massey Journalism School, he then moved to RNZ's international shortwave service specialising in Pacific Island Affairs. Since arriving in Cayman he has worked in Sales before moving into the newsroom. Koro enjoys Cayman's culture, climate, and general "feel" as it reminds him of his father's homeland in the Pacific Islands of Tonga.
