Nikolai Hill

Nikolai Hill

After attending Iowa Wesleyan College, changing gear from amateur athlete to a professional in the workforce isn’t clear-cut or easy. My previous experiences as a professional have been as a Credit Officer (CIDB) and journalist (Cayman Net News). I’ve been here at Radio Cayman since Feb 06, 2006 and have worked primarily in the Sales & Promotions division. My role at Radio Cayman has presented unique opportunities for me to do the things I’m passionate about. I will continue to work tirelessly to improve Radio Cayman quality and maintain our status as the premiere media entity in the entire country.

P.S……I would rather be playing for United(Manchester)!

Hailing from Vancouver, Canada, Kathy Miller has worked in the media/communications field for almost 8 years. Having studied Recording Arts and Post Production at the Centre for Digital Imaging and Sound in Vancouver, Kathy went on to work as an Assistant Engineer at Hipposonic Music Studios. Kathy began developing skills in marketing, public relations and event coordination as the Promotions Manager at the RDS Indoor Skatepark, also in Canada, which led her to Cayman, where she worked in the same capacity at the Black Pearl Skatepark and MCM Consultants. A freelance writer for over seven years, Kathy's work has appeared in magazines such as Concrete Powder, Skateboard Canada, SG Magazine, Discorder, and locally in the Caymanian Compass, Cayman Net News, Horizons and UCCI's Pipeline newsletter. Her dream is to heighten the means of communication through written, musical and visual mediums. Cheryl Thompson

Cheryl Thompson

An entertainer (singer) at heart, it was her love of music which initially inspired Cheryl to pursue a Broadcasting career. After graduating from high school, she held her first full time job at the tender age of 16 at the then Telephone Company of Jamaica (ToJ), where she developed a distinct speaking voice as a Toll/International Telephone Operator. By 1987 and several similar jobs later, her penchant for English Language and Literature in High School as well as a desire to improve her qualifications, led her to pursue those subjects at Associate of Science (Business) Degrees in Broadcasting Management and Hotel & Tourism Management at the International College of the Cayman Islands (ICCI). She went on to work for the Holiday Inn (including Karaoke host) and John Gray High School, as well as moonlighting with numerous local bands. In 1995 she returned to Jamaica, where she spent the next twelve years at FAME-FM/RJR Group, HOT 102FM and Marline Stephenson & Associates. Come January 2008, Cheryl re-joined her family, employed as an Account Executive with Radio Cayman, where she enjoys multi-tasking, as a voice-over talent, producer and presenter at Remote Broadcasts.
