On Saturday, 4 February local schools will compete in the first FIRST Tech Challenge (say that three times fast!) of 2023 - PowerPlay. The challenge supports the FIRST Robotics theme of renewable energy and challenges school teams to design, build, programme and compete in an interschool robotics competition, supported by teacher coaches and mentors. The challenge is designed to encourage the rigorous use of science and engineering to solve the greatest problems of today and tomorrow. Come and support the students from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Camana Bay Arts & Recreation Centre.
