CCMI is accepting applications for our 2023 Young Environmentalist Leadership Course (YELC) We are looking for 10 young Caymanians or permanent residents of the Cayman Islands who will benefit from a unique professional development opportunity in the fields of marine science, environmental conservation, or watersports tourism. Our YELC programme is an exclusive introductory experience to our marine world, developed specifically for young Caymanians who are interested in becoming leaders in our community. Students will leave this course with professional development training in resume/CV building, interview skills, underwater field research methods, vessel handling, team-building, Caribbean marine species identification, CPR & AED use, first aid, and more!
