The Cayman Island Bankers Association (CIBA) member Retail Banks have announced amended branch operating hours and the temporary closure of some branches in support of the Government’s mandate for businesses to comply with instructions for self-isolation of non-essential staff in the effort to keep the community safe.
Effective Monday, 30th March 2020, Mondays through Fridays the following branches will be open 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM until further notice, with priority being given to seniors and those considered vulnerable.
Open: Cayman National Bank Ltd -Camana Bay & Cayman Brac and Little Cayman branches
Closed: Countryside Shopping Village, Elgin Avenue, Buckingham Square, Centennial Towers.
Open: Scotiabank & Trust (Cayman) Limited - Camana Bay
Closed: Crewe Road
Open: Fidelity Bank (Cayman) Ltd - Dr Roy’s Drive
Closed: Fidelity Financial Centre
Open: Butterfield Bank (Cayman) Ltd - Butterfield Place
Closed: Midtown Plaza, Camana Bay, Governors Square
Open: FirstCaribbean International Bank (Cayman) Limited Main Street
Closed: Health City, Plaza Venetia and Regatta
Open: RBC Royal Bank Cayman Limited Shedden Road
Closed: Shamrock Road (Red Bay)
CIBA member retail banks will serve customers in accordance with social distancing guidelines within the banking hall and staff operating environment.
Customers are encouraged to make use of their electronic banking services wherever possible and only use branches where electronic and ATM channels are not available. These include Bill Payments, Bank transfers and Electronic Funds Transfers via their Online Banking as well as making cash withdrawals and deposits at ATMs.
