Join the CIAS from 7PM on Saturday the 15th of May at the Cayman Brac Lighthouse on the Eastern tip of the Bluff. With the Brac's wonderfully dark skies, we look forward to seeing all of the sights visible from Grand Cayman as well as some special bonuses. As we admire the Milky Way across the sky we'll spot the Southern Cross as well as Alpha Centauri, the closest star beyond our Solar System. The splendid Omega Centauri cluster with its several million stars should also appear in a telescope like diamonds spilt on black velvet. Additionally, the space station will cross over Cayman Brac as a brilliant point of light at 7:33PM. As always, all are welcome and the event is totally free!
