The Office of the Deputy Governor has announced that application fees for naturalisation and registration as a British Overseas Territories citizen will increase, starting 1 January 2026. For adults applying for naturalisation, the application fee will increase from CI$625 to CI$1,300, while the filing fee will rise from CI$200 to CI$500, bringing the total cost per application to CI$1,800. For applications for registration as a BOTC (for minors and adults, where applicable), the fee will increase from CI$250 to CI$800, with the filing fee also rising to CI$500, for a total of CI$1,300 per application. Additionally, a new non-refundable filing fee of CI$300 will be introduced for administrative services provided by the Office of the Deputy Governor in relation to the registration as a British citizen process.
