Cayman Art Week events on May 24th include:
- The CAW Brac Gallery & Studio Seniors Morning from 9 to 11am. This is an open event but pre-registration is required via events@caymanartweek.com.
- From 9 to 12pm, there will be a studio tour of the Visual Arts Society at Watler House
- Join artist Gordon Solomon for an afternoon of Community Canvas at his studio from 3 to 6pm. Join a curator-led bus tour of the studios, galleries, and heritage sites across Cayman Brac. Buses will leave the District Administration Car Park from 4:00 pm.
- In Grand Cayman, you’re invited to join the Cayman National Cultural Foundation to view a special exhibition of artworks by Miss Lassie
- Bush at the Mind’s Eye Centre in South Sound from 10am to 1pm. F
- From 9am to 1pm…is the CAW East Gallery and Studio Bus Tour for venues in South Sound, Savannah, Bodden Town, and Breakers. Buses will leave the National Gallery at 9:00 am and 9.30 am.
- At Island Primary from 10am to 7pm, Autism Cayman will present Expression Beyond Words, an exhibition curated from select works by autistic and neurodiverse children and adults. Meet the artists and their families at a cocktail reception from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Light refreshments will be served.
- At 12pm, join a National Gallery curator-led tour of the From the Mind’s Eye group exhibition featuring 18 Cayman artists.
- There’s also a painting session at Eldemire House at 4pm, a Special Exhibition at Indigo Bay from 5 to 7, at Artist Talk event a Hotel Indigo at 5pm and at the Kimpton at 7pm and a special art of collecting event at Harbour Walk at 6pm.
