As part of Cayman Art Week, you’re invited to a lunchtime lecture at the National Gallery on 22 May at 12pm. Join a National Gallery curator-led tour of the National Art Collection and the current collection exhibition ‘Evolutions: Continuity and Change in Caymanian Art’. Learn more about collection planning as well as how the Gallery conserves and cares for the collection in perpetuity. Refreshments available in the NGCI Art Cafe. At 6pm at evening, you’re invited to the CAW West Gallery and Studio Tour for Seven Mile Beach. Hop-on hop-off bus tours will leave from the Hub at The Paseo, Camana Bay, and run between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm from participating venues, many of whom are also hosting special events. Enjoy a complimentary Aperol Spritz courtesy of Jacques Scott at the Hub before you board the bus (bar open between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm). Following the CAW West tours, join artist Carlos V. Garcia for an after-hours event at his popular contemporary art venue at The Grove from 6 to 9pm.
