Cayman Connection’s Making Waves Awards

Nominations are now open, until 30 June 2022, for Cayman Connection’s Making Waves Awards.

In its first year, the Cayman Connection Making Waves Awards will recognise Caymanians living overseas who have made outstanding contributions to, and excelled in their respective fields at a regional and/or global level.

The program looks to commend people who have excelled in their field whilst abroad, specifically those who continually strive to promote our community and share “Caymankind” globally.

The inaugural Making Waves Awards winners will be announced at the Cayman Connection Annual Reception hosted with thanks to H.E the Governor of the Cayman Islands. A second awards ceremony will take place at the annual “Cayman Day” in the UK in September.

2. STEM
3. Environment & Sustainability
4. Sports
5. Financial, Legal & Professional Services
6. Education
7. Health & Wellness
8. Tourism, Travel & Hospitality

To be eligible to qualify, the nominee must:

• Have lived overseas for a minimum of 12 months through to 30th June 2022. Students in full time education living overseas are eligible.
• Be Caymanian.
• Be excelling in, or making outstanding contributions to your respective field.
