Government buildings will fly the Cayman Islands flag at half-mast all day on Friday 23 July 2021. The flag-lowering by the Cayman Islands is part of a tribute by CARICOM members to mark the official funeral of Haitian President Jovenel Moises. CARICOM also requested members to fly flags at half-mast from 7-9 July following the Haitian leader’s assassination.
