"I had a great time scuba diving, and I met a lot of great people!" - Amanda Lee, past Caribbean Marine Ecology Camp (CMEC) participant
Spend a week scuba diving and snorkeling at one of the world’s most stunning coral reefs during this year's CMEC! While staying at CCMI's Little Cayman Research Centre in Little Cayman, participants learn about tropical marine ecology and conservation through this interactive programme, where no day is the same! Students benefit from lessons and frequent interaction with experts in marine ecology including researchers and resident graduate students. This experience is appropriate for both divers and non-divers.
Dates: 4 - 10 August 2020
Ages: 13 - 17 years old
* *Please note: due to travel restrictions to the Cayman Islands, the 2020 CMEC session is for residents of the Cayman Islands ONLY.
