The Central Caribbean Marine Institute is hosting a half-term Conservation Ecology Camp for students between the ages of 13 and 17. The programme will also include all the fun activities of a camp with beach games, kayaking, cycling, and a beach bonfire. The goal of this camp will be for students to begin a project for presentation at the annual Cayman Islands Rotary Club Science Fair. Group field projects will focus on coral disease, Caribbean-wide long-spined sea urchin die-off, or carbon sequestration in mangroves and seagrass beds. For more information, head to reefresearch.org.
