The Ministry of Planning, Lands, Agriculture, Housing & Infrastructure advises the public that construction work will officially resume on the new East-West Agricola Connector Road on Monday, 24 August 2026. The work is expected to continue for approximately 12 weeks. The following traffic restrictions will remain in effect throughout the construction period:
The road will be closed to all eastbound traffic.
Westbound access for motorists travelling from Bodden Town, East End and North Side will be available on weekdays only, from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Motorists should expect delays and allow additional travel time, particularly during peak hours.
