The Elections Office is reminding all licensed liquor establishments of their legal obligations under the Elections Act during the upcoming General Election and Referendum. No intoxicating liquor shall be sold, offered for sale or given away at any premises situated in any electoral district in which an election is being held, to which a licence issued under the Liquor Licensing Act (2019 Revision) applies, at any time between the opening of the poll and one hour after the close of the poll. Polls are open 7am to 6pm.
