Members of the public who may have received an email entitled “CIG Online Password Reset” or “Your CIG Online account has been created” are kindly asked to disregard the messages, which were sent out in error during a system test earlier today (Tuesday, 15 September 2020).
The testing is part of a raft of upgrades in the works from the Cayman Islands Government, which will serve to provide improved security when accessing our online services.
The emails are not harmful to users. Persons may contact the E-Government unit, if concerned, at eservices@gov.ky.
