Hemmington Forest Public Consultation

The National Conservation Council (NCC) is inviting the public to review and provide comments on the (draft) Protected Area Management Plan for Hemmington Forest, a 194-acre area of biodiverse dry forest and shrubland in central Cayman Brac. It is Crown land protected under the National Conservation Act. The draft Plan in summary and full versions and consultation survey is available online at www.conservation.ky/hemmington-forest. A physical copy of the Plan may also be reviewed at the Department of Environment offices in Cayman Brac and Grand Cayman. Comments on the proposal may be emailed to conservationcouncil@gov.ky, received at the DoE offices, or mailed to PO Box 10202, Grand Cayman, KY1-1002.
