National Youth Commission Expressions of Interest

The Ministry of Youth, Sports, Culture & Heritage (MYSCH) is inviting persons to apply to become members of the National Youth Commission Board. Those who are interested in helping to harness and develop the full potential of Caymanian youth as partners in nation-building may apply for the following positions:

• • Psychologist/ Social Worker (one)
  • Attorney-at-law (one)
  • Registered Medical Practitioner (one)
  • Youth representatives between the ages of 15-25 - including a Sister Islands representative (three)
  • Layperson (one)
  • Finance/ Business Community representative (one)

The Commission is a voluntary 13-person board and members can be appointed for up to three years.

The first round of applications opens Wednesday, 8 June - Wednesday, 22 June, 2022. Shortlisted applicants will be invited for an interview. The establishment of the newly-constituted Commission aligns with the Ministry’s priority of “Enhancing and Empowering our Youth”.
