The Family Resource Centre is pleased to be delivering our annual Teen Pregnancy Prevention Campaign- I AM WORTH THE WAIT. The overall objective of this campaign is to teach adolescents the value of their bodies in order to protect their future; our focus is to educate teens about the consequences of high risk behaviours and give them the necessary tools to make better choices. This year’s I AM WORTH THE WAIT” Teen Forum held on June 10 from 6-9pm will attract approximately 50-75 teenagers between the ages of 12-16. The forum will feature local experts/ educators speaking to teenagers on various themes that include sexual education, adolescent development, healthy relationships and responsible decision making.
