Water Works

As part of the Boilers Road Pipelaying Project, Water Authority–Cayman advises customers and motorists of an additional planned water service interruption and traffic disruption along Seafarers Way/ South Church Street, George Town, on Sunday, 30 August 2026. 

This work involves installing a 12" x 12" tee connection along Seafarers Way, which will connect to the new 12" pipeline currently being installed along Boilers. Similar work to install a connection will take place on Walkers Road and surrounding roads on 13 September 2026. 

To facilitate the installation, water service will be interrupted from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Customers along the following roads will be affected:

• A portion of Seafarers Way, south of the National Museum up to the intersection with Boilers Road
• All customers along Merrendale Drive
• A portion of South Church Street, from Boilers Road up to Eden Road

Traffic disruption will also occur along Seafarers Way and Boilers Road between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM on Sunday, 30 August 2026.
