Cayman Airways' La Ceiba route has proven to be so popular this summer that the airline has confirmed the addition of even more Friday flights in August and September to close out the busy summer travel season.
Earlier this summer, the airline had added three extra Friday flights that operated in July and early August, complementing the weekly Wednesday flights. Now, an additional four Friday flights have been added for travel from 21 August through 11 September 2026, operating as follows: flight KX2882 departs Grand Cayman at 12:35pm and arrives in La Ceiba at 1:10pm; flight KX2883 departs La Ceiba at 2:40pm and arrives in Grand Cayman at 5:05pm. The extra flights provide greater flexibility for customers visiting friends and family, as well as those looking for a unique getaway close to home.
