Inspire Cayman Training is now offering a Heavy Equipment Hands-On Practical Training Programme – 360 Excavator Operator, giving participants the opportunity to move from simulator training into real-world, hands-on operation of an excavator — right here in Cayman.
For us, this is an exciting step because participants can now take the skills they have developed through simulator training and transition into practical field training on a real excavator. They can build their confidence, competence and experience on actual equipment, while developing skills that can be applied directly in the workplace.
Most importantly, this opportunity is being made available right here in our own backyard. Caymanians interested in developing a career in heavy equipment can now access this type of practical training experience locally, without having to look overseas.
The programme is structured in two levels:
Level 1 – Simulator Training
Building the foundation through machine controls, operating techniques and safe operating practices.
Level 2 – Practical Field Training
Taking those skills into the field and operating a real excavator in a hands-on training environment.
We are particularly excited about the potential this programme has to create new pathways for Caymanians, support local workforce development and give individuals practical skills they can take directly into the workplace.
