Another Man has been Arrested for Robbery and Other Offences

Sometime after 9 AM today, 17 December, officers conducting enhanced patrols in the West Bay district as part of Operation Winter Guardian, located a wanted man in the Boatswain Bay area of West Bay. The man was seen riding an illegal dirt bike, and when attempts were made to stop him, he refused and fled from the location.

Various units attached to Operation Winter Guardian responded to the area and searched for the man. During the search, he was located on foot off Town Hall Road, West Bay, and was arrested by the officers and taken to the Cayman Islands Detention Centre.

The 21-year-old man, who resides in West Bay, was arrested on suspicion of robbery, theft-related offences, assault and drug-related offences. He is currently in custody pending further investigation.
