Bodden Town Man Charged with Aggravated Burglary

On 6 October police formally charged a 43-year-old-man of Bodden Town with Aggravated Burglary following his arrest in relation to an incident that took place just before 5:50PM on 3 October, at a residence in Birchwood Road, George Town.

The Bodden Town man was arrested by officers at the scene of the incident with weapons in his possession that were used to assault another man, after forcibly entering the premise. The injured party was transported by ambulance to the Cayman Islands Hospital by ambulance where he was treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries and later released.

The Bodden Town man appeared in court on Wednesday and was subsequently bailed to return on 27 October, 2021.
