31 October 2025, 05:34 AM

Due to the impact of Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica, the waivers for change fees and fare difference have been extended for Cayman Airways customers travelling between Grand Cayman and Kingston, Jamaica.

To qualify for the waivers, customers must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Tickets must have been purchased on/before October 22, 2025
  • Travel must have been scheduled for flights departing between October 22, 2025 and November 12, 2025
  • New travel dates must be between October 30, 2025 and December 13, 2025
  • All travel must be rebooked in the original cabin
  • The origin and destination must remain the same
  • All travel must be on Cayman Airways

Passengers who do not meet the above criteria will only be eligible for the change-fee-waiver and the option to apply the full value of the ticket to Travel Bank, provided that:

  • The ticket was purchased on/before October 22, 2025
  • The original booking was for travel between October 22, 2025 through November 12, 2025
  • The origin and destination remains unchanged
  • Rebooking remains in the same cabin

Passengers can make these changes themselves online. Simply visit www.caymanairways.com, on the homepage go to "Manage My Bookings"(under the main booking window), select the “Exchange” tab to either make changes to qualifying bookings, or the “Cancel Flight” tab to receive a credit in Travel Bank for the entire value of the ticket. Contact details can also be updated under the "Passenger Details" section. Alternatively, call the Cayman Airways Call Center at 345-949-2311 (see link for toll free numbers: www.caymanairways.com/contact-us).

Cayman Airways customers are reminded to ensure that their ticket reservations contain accurate contact details, including an email address and phone number, for the airline to be able to advise them directly of any updates if changes to their flight schedule becomes necessary.
