Cayman Airways Wins Gold In Three Categories In The Best of Cayman Islands Awards 2025

Cayman Airways Limited (CAL) is proud to announce that the airline has been recognised in the Best of Cayman Islands Awards 2025, receiving the top gold award in three categories:

·         Best Customer Service

·         Best Place to Work

·         Best Cargo/Logistics

These awards mark the second consecutive year of Cayman Airways being recognized as the Best Place to Work and as having the Best Cargo/Logistics services. Additionally, this year the airline won gold in the newly added, and very competitive, category of Best Customer Service.

Cayman Airways President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Fabian Whorms, said that these awards are an important honour for the entire Cayman Airways family. “To be recognised once again as Cayman’s Best Place to Work and Best Cargo/Logistics provider, and now also as the Best in Customer Service, is a true reflection of our employees’ dedication, professionalism, and passion for serving our Islands,” he said, emphasising that the Best Customer Service award holds particular significance, as it is a new award category open to every business in the Cayman Islands. “We are proud to be the inaugural winner in this category, and we intend to defend this title in the years ahead. Customer service in the Cayman Islands is generally of a very high standard, and to be recognised as the first holder of this distinction is something we take seriously, as it positions Cayman Airways as representing the best of what the Cayman Islands has to offer. As a globally recognised brand, this achievement brings tremendous value not only to the airline but also to our beloved Cayman Islands.”

The President & CEO added that these accolades could not have been achieved without the loyalty and votes of Cayman Airways’ customers, employees, and supporters. “These awards belong to all of us, and we remain committed to flying the Cayman Islands flag with pride and honour,” he said.

Mr. Paul Tibbetts, Executive Vice President for Commercial Affairs and Chief Financial Officer, agreed, noting that the Cayman Islands are known worldwide for providing world-class service, delighting visitors, earning the trust of international investors, and setting a high standard of excellence across industries. “For Cayman Airways to be recognised as the leader in Customer Service for the Cayman Islands is especially meaningful and humbling, particularly given the incredible level of service collectively provided throughout these Islands,” he said. “It also reflects the steady improvement we have seen in our own post-travel customer experience surveys, which we use to calculate our Net Promoter Score (NPS). Over the past year, Cayman Airways has advanced from good to great in this area, and is now averaging a score of above 60. In the airline industry, where our competitors and other leading carriers typically record scores in the 25 to 35 range, this places Cayman Airways firmly among the top tier of global airlines for customer satisfaction.”

Mr. Tibbetts added that, given the numerous touch points involved in delivering service to CAL customers (which are generally greater in the airline industry than in most other sectors), this achievement is particularly significant. “Our award-winning service is therefore a recognition of our Caymanian hospitality, which is also backed by our own data as a clear measure of the professionalism and dedication of our entire team, he said. “Each customer interaction is approached with genuine care and a uniquely Caymanian flavour, creating lasting positive memories for our passengers.”

For the Best Cargo/Logistics award, Mr. Ivan Forbes, Vice President of Airport Passenger and Cargo Services, said: “Earning the Gold award in this category highlights the strength of our team and the trust that our business partners and customers place in us.
