On Thursday, 5 February 2026, the Cayman Career Academy (CCA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Training’s (MoET) National Training and Development Unit, hosted a graduation ceremony to honour the achievements of the 2025 cohort. The event recognised 28 graduates, including one who earned multiple certifications, alongside their families and representatives from MoET, Workforce Opportunities and Residency Cayman (WORC), and the Scholarship Secretariat.
The graduates completed a range of programmes through the Cayman Career Academy, supported by MoET scholarships, preparing them for careers in the health and beauty sectors. These internationally recognised programmes equip graduates with the skills to contribute locally and pursue global opportunities in their fields.
MoET’s Deputy Chief Officer, Mr Jerome McCoy, congratulated the graduates:
“We are incredibly proud of these graduates and all they have accomplished. Through their hard work, the early support from the WORC team, and the assistance of MoET scholarships, they have earned internationally recognised qualifications that open doors to meaningful careers in the health and beauty industry. We celebrate their achievements and the bright futures they are building for themselves and for the Cayman Islands.”
Dr Kimone Chambers, Manager of the National Training and Development Unit, added:
“Each of these graduates has shown remarkable dedication and perseverance. Earning globally recognised qualifications is no small feat, and they should be proud of the skills and knowledge they have gained. They are now ready to make a real impact, both locally and globally, in their chosen fields.”
The ceremony highlighted the graduates’ dedication, the guidance of CCA lecturers, and the collaborative effort of national agencies in building Cayman’s workforce.
The National Training and Development Unit congratulates the 2025 graduates and look forward to their continued success as skilled professionals and ambassadors of Cayman excellence.
