Cayman First has renewed its commitment to The Breast Cancer Foundation, joining as a Silver Sponsor for the annual Breast Cancer Gala Dinner on 4th October 2025 at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman.

This sponsorship follows a CI$10,000 donation made at the end of 2024 as part of Cayman First’s 40th anniversary “40 for 40” initiative, under which the company pledged CI$40,000 to local charities and not-for-profits as part of its mission of supporting and safeguarding the community.

The annual gala is a key fundraiser for the Foundation, supporting essential services such as early detection programmes, awareness and wellness initiatives, the Stepping Strong rehabilitation programme, and survivorship support.

“The Breast Cancer Foundation’s incredible work providing comprehensive care to those affected by breast cancer is truly inspiring,” said Polly Pickels, Vice President of Group Insurance Services at Cayman First. “We are pleased our support will help ensure the Foundation can continue these many important programmes and services.”

Cayman First also continues to demonstrate its commitment to the well-being of the Cayman Islands community through its innovative insurance solutions, including the recently launched My Health Online. This dedicated digital platform allows members, providers, and brokers to manage health insurance policies and claims seamlessly online, an especially valuable resource for those unable to visit a branch in person or receiving treatment overseas.

“We are grateful to Cayman First for their continued support through silver sponsorship of our gala dinner,” said Beverly Edgington, Chief Administrator of the Breast Cancer Foundation. “With many of our patients insured through Cayman First, this partnership reflects our shared commitment to standing by members of the community and ensuring they feel supported during one of the most challenging times of their lives.”
