“It’s always special to play at home, especially for the opening match of a major tournament,” said CIFA Women’s Technical Director Martha Godet. “Our group presents a fantastic opportunity to test ourselves against some of the region’s top programs, and our squad is eager, prepared, and proud to represent the Cayman Islands.”

Cayman will look to build on recent progress in women’s football as they take on Bermuda in front of hometown supporters. Details for the remaining group fixtures are expected to be announced soon.

Fans and media are encouraged to come out and support the national team as the players begin their qualifying journey.
