CBC Seizes Ganja Imported from the United States

Customs & Border Control (CBC) continues to inspect incoming goods and recently seized a package arriving from the United States.

The package was initially declared as a gift and upon inspection CBC officers recovered approximately 1lb of ganja and a number of vape pens. 

A 24 year old Caymanian male has been arrested on suspicion of importation of the drugs.

Director of CBC Charles Clifford thanks the officers for their continued vigilance and said, “Our CBC Officers have benefitted from robust training programmes and it is gratifying to see their skills being so effectively employed in the field.”

This remains an active investigation.
