In the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa, Coralisle Group Ltd. (CG) is leveraging the strength of its regional network to support recovery efforts in Jamaica. As the largest provider of insurance solutions in the Caribbean, CG’s structure enables the organisation to draw on resources from across its 21 jurisdictions to assist affected communities swiftly and effectively. “In times like these, our clients place their trust in us to help them recover and rebuild,” said Winsome Gibbs, Branch Manager, CG United Jamaica. “At CG, fulfilling that promise is at the heart of what we do. With the strength of our regional network behind us, we’re able to respond swiftly and stand alongside our clients, providing the support and reassurance they need when it matters most.” Dedicated claims and logistics teams have already been mobilised in Jamaica, with on-theground support from CG colleagues in Barbados and Trinidad, alongside specialised assistance from partners in Miami. Regionally, CG team members across multiple territories are also providing remote administrative support to ensure clients in Jamaica receive timely guidance and care. To further aid in recovery, CG has committed support through local organisations in Jamaica, focusing on rebuilding and restoring the island’s compromised healthcare infrastructure as well as supporting homelessness, particularly in the western region, which experienced the most severe impact. The Group has also shipped essential supplies, including tarpaulins and water, to affected communities and continues to explore additional opportunities to provide relief through regional and international partnerships.
“Each of the 21 countries we serve is part of who we are as CG,” said Naz Farrow, CEO of Coralisle Group Ltd. “When one of our regions is impacted, the rest stand ready to help. Our collective strength lies in our ability to unite resources, expertise, and compassion to support our people and communities when they need us most.” CG remains committed to standing with those affected by Hurricane Melissa throughout this period of recovery. Similar support efforts have also been extended to other CG territories impacted by the storm, including the Turks and Caicos Islands and The Bahamas. Updates on CG’s ongoing recovery initiatives and operations will be shared through the company’s local channels and social media pages.
