The Cayman Islands Marketing Professionals Association (CIMPA) is set to host the 2026 CIMPA Conference & Awards, on April 17-18 at Hotel Indigo. Under the theme "Level Up: Marketing’s New Formula," the event promises a future-focused exploration of how artificial intelligence, synthetic data, and human intuition and judgment are reshaping the marketing and communications industry.
This year’s conference moves beyond traditional workshops to offer a masterclass in the "new formula" for success. The speaker roster represents a powerful synergy between international innovation and Cayman excellence. Leading the global perspective are Sabaa Quao, Eric Gilbertsen, Ted Bravakis, Mark Frankel, Nick Lawrence, and Yannick Connan, who bring insights from the frontlines of artificial intelligence (AI), new venture studio models, communications and public relations, and digital experience design.
Joining them are local industry leaders including Oneisha Richards, David Feare, Gary Hendricks-Dominguez, Ayanna Victorin, and Raymond Mathias. Together, this diverse group will cover critical themes such as the transition from "execution to insight," the rise of AI-agent-driven customer experiences, and the mechanics of building globally recognized brands—like the Department of Tourism’s "Welcome to vaCay"—right here in Cayman.
“Marketing is evolving at a breakneck pace, and the old formula no longer yields the same results,” said Ben Leftwich, Chair of the CIMPA board. “By bringing together these distinct voices—from government communication experts to fintech pioneers—we are giving our local marketing and communications community a comprehensive toolkit to navigate the shifting industry landscape with confidence and commercial acumen.”
The weekend concludes on the evening of April 18th with the CIMPA Awards Gala. This premier event celebrates the "best of the best" in the local marketing and communications industry across nine prestigious categories. Attendees will enjoy a three-course dinner and unmatched networking opportunities with the island’s top creative and strategic minds.
