The Cayman International Reinsurance Companies Association (CIRCA) has announced the recipients of its 2025 Rising Stars program: Charles Lewinson of Knighthead International and Alfie Parker of Marsh Management Services Cayman Ltd.
The Rising Stars program celebrates young Caymanians who demonstrate exceptional promise and a commitment to the reinsurance industry.
Honorees gain:

“Developing Caymanian talent is essential to the future of the reinsurance industry,” said Owen McLaughlin, chair of CIRCA’s Social and Outreach Committee. “Our Rising Stars program gives young professionals the exposure, mentorship and opportunities they need to thrive and, in turn, ensures Cayman remains a leading jurisdiction for reinsurance.”
About the honorees:
Charles Lewinson is a financial and investment analyst at Knighthead Annuity & Life Assurance Company, with experience spanning fund services, family office, investment advisory and reinsurance. At Knighthead, he focuses on data automation, asset management, financial analysis and collaboration with actuaries and investment managers.
A graduate of the University of Aberdeen Business School with a master’s in finance, Lewinson is a Certified Fraud Examiner and is pursuing CFA and ACCA designations. Outside of work, he is committed to community service, holding leadership roles within the Seventh-day Adventist Church and the Tropical Gardens Omega LEO Club.
“I’m honored to be named a CIRCA Rising Star,” Lewinson said. “This program not only recognizes my work so far but also motivates me to continue contributing to the growth and innovation of Cayman’s reinsurance sector.”
Alfie Parker is an associate at Marsh Management Services Cayman Ltd., where he manages client portfolios and contributes to company formation, governance and operations. A Caymanian professional in the early stages of his career, Parker graduated in 2022 with a degree in business with tourism management and joined Marsh through the IMAC Scholarship Program.
He is pursuing ACCA qualifications and is passionate about mentoring young Caymanians, supporting industry events and advocating for local talent. His adaptability, community involvement and leadership potential underscore his long-term commitment to strengthening Cayman’s insurance and reinsurance sector.
“Being selected as a Rising Star is a huge encouragement,” Parker said. “It reinforces my commitment to building a career in this industry and to supporting other young Caymanians who want to do the same.”
