Civil Service Operates Normal Hours on Monday

The Civil Service has announced that it will be open for business tomorrow (Monday, 27 October), operating normal business hours across all services. This comes as weather forecasts continue to indicate that the Cayman Islands may experience less severe weather impacts from Hurricane Melissa. 
 
In light of this, all employees are expected to attend their normal place of work tomorrow.
 
The CIG urges civil servants and everyone in the community to remain vigilant, continue to monitor official government channels for updates, and to keep in thought and prayer our neighbours in Jamaica as they brace for a direct hit.
