COVID-19 Update 14 May 2021

The Chief Medical Officer, Dr. John Lee, reports that 231 COVID-19 tests have been carried out since this was last reported on Thursday, 13 May 2021. There were 4 positive results in travellers.

There have been 73,721 Covid-19 vaccinations given in total in the Cayman Islands. Of these, 39,792 (61% of the estimated population) have had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 52% have completed the two dose course.

Public Health thanks the Cayman public for continuing to come forward to take up the vaccine before the June 9^th deadline.
