COVID-19 Update 16 August 2021

The Chief Medical Officer, Dr. John Lee, reports that 656 COVID-19 tests have been carried out since this was last reported on Friday, 13 August 2021. There were five positive test results in travellers.

There have been 99,635 COVID-19 vaccinations given in total in the Cayman Islands. Of these, 50,884 (72% of 71,106) have had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 48,751 (69%) have completed the two-dose course.
