COVID-19 Update 20 August 2021

The Chief Medical Officer, Dr. John Lee, reports that 620 COVID-19 tests have been carried out since this was last reported on Thursday, 19 August 2021. There were five positive test results in travellers.

There have been 99,790 COVID-19 vaccinations given in total in the Cayman Islands. Of these, 50,943 (72% of 71,106) have had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 48,847 (69%) have completed the two-dose course.
