COVID-19 Update 23 September 2021

Chief Medical Officer Dr John Lee reports that as of 8a.m. Thursday, 23 September, there have been 624 PCR tests since the last report on Wednesday morning. Of these, there are three new positive tests in travellers.

There have been 105,823 Covid-19 vaccinations given in total in the Cayman Islands. 54,852 (77% of an estimated population of 71,106) have had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. Meanwhile 50,962 (72% of the estimated population) have completed the two dose course and nine (0%) have had a third or booster dose.
