COVID-19 Update 25 August 2021

The Chief Medical Officer, Dr. John Lee, reports that 391 COVID-19 tests have been carried out since this was last reported on Tuesday, 24 August 2021. Of these, there were two positive test results in travellers.

There have been 100,362 COVID-19 vaccinations given in total in the Cayman Islands. To date 51,175 persons (72% of 71,106) have had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 49,187 (69%) have completed the two-dose course.
