COVID-19 Update 29 June 2021

The Chief Medical Officer, Dr. John Lee, reports that 427 COVID-19 tests have been carried out since this was last reported on Monday, 28 June, 2021. There were no positive results.

To date, 93,307 COVID-19 vaccinations have been given in total in the Cayman Islands. Of these, 48,333 (68% of an estimated 71,100) had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and approximately 63% have completed the two-dose course.

The patient admitted with COVID-19 to the Cayman Islands Hospital has improved considerably and no longer requires the support of a ventilator.
