COVID-19 Update 30 April 2021

The Chief Medical Officer, Dr. John Lee, reports that 215 COVID-19 tests have been carried out since this was last reported on Thursday, 29 April 2021. One was positive.

The individual is a traveller who tested positive following routine screening. They will remain in isolation until considered recovered.

The total number of COVID-19 vaccines administered to date is 65,991.

So far, 35,774 (55% of the estimated population of 65,000) have received at least one dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, with 46% having completed the two-dose course.
