COVID-19 Update 30 August 2021

The Chief Medical Officer, Dr. John Lee, reports that 513 COVID-19 tests have been carried out since this was last reported on Friday, 27 August 2021. Of these there were no positive tests.

There have been 101,008 COVID-19 vaccinations given in total in the Cayman Islands.

A total of 51,514 persons (72% of the estimated population of 71,106) have had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. Meanwhile 49,494 persons (70% of estimated population) have completed the two-dose course.
