The Chief Medical Officer, Dr. John Lee, reports that 496 COVID-19 tests have been carried out since this was last reported on Tuesday, 7 September 2021.

There were four positive test results in travellers. Of the positive results, three individuals are fully vaccinated with two having received the Pfizer vaccine here in the Cayman Islands and one having received the AstraZeneca vaccine overseas.

There have been 102,399 COVID-19 vaccinations given in total in the Cayman Islands. Of these, 52,433 (74% of 71,106) have had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 49,966 (70%) have completed the two-dose course.
