Covid 19 Update 9 August 2021

The Chief Medical Officer, Dr. John Lee, reports that 529 COVID-19 tests have been carried out since this was last reported on Friday, 6 August 2021. There were two positive tests in travellers.

There have been 98,891 COVID-19 vaccinations given in total in the Cayman Islands to date.  Of these, 50,524 (71% of 71,106) have had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 48,367 (68%) have completed the two-dose course.
