Covid Update 26 July 2021

The Chief Medical Officer, Dr. John Lee, reports that 737 COVID-19 tests have been carried out since this was last reported on Friday, 23 July, 2021. There were four positive test results in travellers.

A traveller has been admitted to hospital from quarantine suffering with symptoms of COVID-19 disease. The person is stable and does not require ventilator support at this time.

There have been 96,993 COVID-19 vaccinations given in total in the Cayman Islands.  Of these, 49,672 (70% of 71,106) have had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 47,321 (67%) completed the two-dose course.
