The Caribbean Development Bank’s (CDB) SheTrades Caribbean Regional Hub has joined forces with the Cayman Islands Chamber of Commerce and the Cayman Islands Centre for Business Development (CICBD) to relaunch the flagship Small Biz Bootcamp. This dynamic, three-part training series aims to empower women entrepreneurs with critical business tools, expert insights, and valuable networking opportunities.
A Bold New Chapter for Small Business Support
Originally launched in 2016, the Small Biz Bootcamp has helped hundreds of local entrepreneurs overcome challenges through practical, hands-on training. Now, the reinvented programme will focus on supporting women-led businesses, connecting international best practices from the SheTrades Initiative with local expertise for maximum impact.
“This partnership with the CICC and CICBD is a strategic step for SheTrades Caribbean and CDB to increase support for women entrepreneurs across the region,” said Kayanne Anderson, SheTrades Caribbean Regional Coordinator. “We’re delivering more than training; we’re delivering opportunity, community, and impact.”
Wil Pineau, CEO of the Chamber, said: “Small businesses are the backbone of our economy—and women are at the heart of that story. By relaunching the Small Biz Bootcamp with a focus on women, we’re building a movement for inclusive, sustainable growth.”
