Beyond the competition, CMF celebrated a new addition to its family activities by welcoming its first electric ride-on driver, four-year-old Octavia Scaletta. As the Federation develops more opportunities for families to enjoy events together, other young electric ride-on racers and their families are invited to join the next and final event for the year on 25 October 2026 at Foster’s Airport overflow parking lot, starting at 1 p.m. sharp (prior to the main event).
Event sponsor CDG’s Monster Beverage supplied drinks, which were sold with proceeds supporting CMF’s activities. The sponsor also supported the Federation’s sustainability goals by providing only canned products, alongside recycling facilities at the event.
Through its partnership with Junk, CMF provided four recycling bins positioned around the property. Online registration and payments, together with QR codes for information wherever possible, helped reduce paper use, with paper forms kept to a minimum.
CMF also continued its sustainability partnership with Refuel and provided a sustainability survey for drivers and volunteers to help inform further improvements and Refuel gas certificates. These practical measures reflect the Federation’s ongoing commitment to incorporating sustainability into grassroots motorsport.
In support of FIA Volunteers Month, CMF extended its appreciation to the 15 volunteers who supported this round and to everyone who gives their time to the Federation’s events throughout the year. Their dedication makes it possible to bring competitors, families and supporters together and continue developing motorsport in the Cayman Islands.
With the final round approaching, CMF invites the community to come along on 25 October at Foster’s Airport overflow parking lot, starting at 1 p.m. sharp, support the drivers, meet the volunteers and enjoy an afternoon of motorsport and family activities.
