Jamaican Fugitive returned to Jamaica

 The Cayman Islands Customs and Border Control (CBC) Service has confirmed that Rudolph A. Shaw was removed from the Cayman Islands in accordance with section 101(3) of the Customs and Border Control Act, 2021 Revision.

Mr. Shaw, a Jamaican national, is wanted in Jamaica for a number of serious offences, including murder. He was arrested in the Cayman Islands in early July 2022 and charged with illegally entering the country. Mr. Shaw was escorted to Jamaica this morning, 27th July 2022, by CBC and Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) officers and was handed over to the Jamaica Authorities.
