Come out to Camana Bay on Sunday September 29th 2019 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm and help us light the sky red in honour of World Heart Day. Don’t forget to wear red.
This year on World Heart Day, as part of CHF mission to ensure heart health equity for all, we want to create a community of Heart Heroes. Make a promise to us:
Dr. Bella Beraha, CHF Vice-Chairperson, said, The Cayman Heart Fund (CHF) proudly partners with the efforts of the World Heart Day in an effort to bring attention to and hopefully one day eliminate, cardiovascular disease.
Christy Whittaker, Marketing Manager, said, Camana Bay is proud to support the Cayman Heart Fund and World Heart Day by lighting up our town center in red. We encourage everyone in our community to take charge of their heart health and be mindful of actions you can take to prevent and control Cardiovascular Disease. Physical activity is one action that plays a huge role in maintaining good health and with Camana Bay being largely pedestrianized we are proud to provide an environment convenient for walkers, runners and joggers to keep moving and get their daily exercise in. Christy Whittaker, Marketing Manager for Dart
Mrs. Whittaker also expressed that World Heart Day should be celebrated and recognized every day and we encourage the Cayman community to support the Cayman Heart Fund in this awareness campaign.
The Cayman Heart Fund (CHF) is a non-profit, non-government organization dedicated to the reduction of heart and circulatory disease in the Cayman Islands. Heart and circulatory disease, known as cardiovascular disease (CVD), is the number one health problem in the Cayman Islands.
