Man Found Unresponsive on North Church Street this Morning

Just after 5:45AM today, police arrested a 28-year-old-man on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, driving a vehicle whilst disqualified, driving a vehicle without insurance and leaving the scene of an accident.

The man was taken into custody where he is being held pending further investigations by the Traffic and Roads Policing Unit.

The victim in this incident is from Off-Island and his identity will not be release at this time to provide officers time to contact his family. The media is asked to also delay publication of his identity until we indicate this has been done.

The roadway is still blocked for investigative purposes at this time.
